The Dabbling Mum is an online publication with a Christian undertone. They are currently in need of articles on the following topics: business ideas, family vacations, direct sales, marketing & advertising, fiction writing and recipes.

Articles should be between 500 - 1500 words. The Dabbling Mum pays up to $40 per article upon acceptance. They do not pay for articles that have been or will be distributed for free.

Here's What We Want:
For the Affiliate Marketing Column, we want each column to focus on affiliate marketing from the aspect of someone who wants to earn money from affiliate programs without spamming, without providing a lot of hype, etc. It could be to compliment an existing site’s audience or to build upon a new site.

All articles will be archived indefinitely online so you’ll be able to send a link to editors as clips. As the columnist, you must sign a legal and binding contract.

Articles should contain original information—not something you've paraphrased from another article and definitely not something you've attempted to copy from other websites. If this is an area you're interested in writing as you learn, take the time to educate yourself on the topic, and don't be afraid to interview and quote leaders in the industry.

Articles should be factual, should not make unrealistic claims (only a select few ever reach millionaire status), should focus on a single topic, and should contain content that can be read several years from now and still remain relevant. In other words, we don't want to read about the latest trend, the latest statistics, the latest programs, or the newest offerings.

Here's The Count:
Articles must be between 500 and 750 words. Please don’t just throw something together because our payment may not be as high as you’d wish. We’re a small publication with a very small budget, but we still strive for excellence.

Here's What We Pay:
We currently pay our columnists $10 per article.

Since we want all 12 articles up front, we’ll pay you the entire $120 for your articles within 30 days of acceptance of all 12 articles—even though some articles will not appear for months down the road.

If we don't have to do any further editing, we'll throw in a bonus of $20. All we ask is that you don't give your articles away to article directories or non-paying sites after we've paid for the honor of using your material.

Here's What You Need To Do:
You must QUERY us with the reason why you feel you are the right candidate for the column, topics you plan to cover, and one sample column. If we like your work, you’ll be asked to sign a contract and then given a deadline to complete your 12 articles.
